You can use the Fiery Preflight Pro feature to check PDF and PDF/VT jobs. Preflight Pro checks PDF and PDF/VT jobs to verify that it conforms to a set of standards defined in a selected preset.

Preflight Pro is available only on Windows-based Fiery servers with Fiery system software FS500 Pro and later. Preflight Pro is enabled only if the Fiery Graphic Arts Pro Package is activated on the Fiery server.

The checks performed by Preflight Pro are based on the settings defined in a selected preset. Presets can be applied to spooled, and processed jobs. Preflight Pro generates a report to capture the errors and warnings in PDF and PDF/VT jobs, if the jobs deviate from the standards defined in the preset.

To access Preflight Pro, you must log in to Command WorkStation with Administrator or Operator access. Right-click a spooled or processed PDF or PDF/VT job in Command WorkStation Job Center and select Preflight Pro. You can also preflight jobs that are submitted from Fiery Hot Folders or virtual printers.
