Configure Bonjour

Bonjour allows Mac OS computers to detect and connect to the Bonjour-enabled Fiery server for printing. Bonjour also allows for zero configuration while you set up, install, add, or remove the Fiery server from the network.

  1. From Configure, choose Network > Bonjour.
  2. Select Enable Bonjour.
  3. Type the Bonjour Service Name. You can use the default name or specify a unique name, but the length of the name cannot exceed 63 bytes.
  4. From the Preferred printing protocol list, select the protocol that the Fiery server uses when using the Bonjour service.

This list displays only the protocols that you have enabled. The Queue information is read-only, and indicates the print connection for the selected protocol. If no default connection can be defined (such as for IPP), the Print queue is used.

  5. Save your changes.
