A control bar comprises rows of color patches. You can measure the colors of a printout against a reference (for example, Fogra MK 11) to verify ISO 12647-7-compliance.

Command WorkStation supports the following control bars:

• Any control bar that is installed with Command WorkStation

• Your own control bar—Custom control bar files must reside in the ControlStrip folder. Command WorkStation can process all supported file formats except separated files. There is no size restriction.

• A dynamic wedge—A dynamic wedge is made up of the job’s most prominent colors. Each dynamic wedge is, therefore, unique to that job.
