Using ColorCal to measure patches
ColorCal allows you to calibrate the Fiery Server without a measurement instrument. Instead, ColorCal uses the scanner of the printer to measure density values.
For black-and-white printers, ColorCal is not supported as a measurement method.
Note: A measurement instrument can provide more accurate
calibration than ColorCal can. Use a measurement instrument, such
as a spectrophotometer, if one is available.
ColorCal measurement consists of these tasks:
Prepare the scanner for ColorCal.
Measure the calibration page using the scanner.
View and save the measurements.
