Open a reference image file

You can select the reference image. You can display the reference image using its embedded profile if it has one.

You can also select a different profile for an image that has an embedded profile. This is useful if you intend to represent the image using a different source profile. If you do not know which source profile to use, you can select different profiles and compare the results.

  1. Click File > Open Reference Image, click the file, and then click Open.
  2. To display the image using its embedded profile, click Keep embedded profile.
    Note: This option is available only if the image has an embedded profile.
  3. If there is no embedded profile, click Select source profile and locate the file,
  4. Click the profile, and then click Select.
