Command WorkStation automatically selects the correct calibration procedure for your printer model. The advanced calibration procedure consists of four steps, plus two optional steps for a more precise calibration.

The advanced printer calibration consists of the following steps:

• Selecting the printer, media, ink, and output settings
• Limiting the ink for each channel
• Reducing the total ink limit, plus calibration
• Optimizing the gray balance (optional)
• Performing a quality check by comparing printed L*a*b* data for solid colors (optional)
• Completing the calibration
