Visual correction and plate compensation

Color Tools has a feature that allows you to tweak individual color channels to modify your printer’s color reproduction properties. Color corrections are based on a visual assessment.

You can create:

  • A visual correction file, which is a modified calibration file.

  • A plate compensation file, which compensates for varying dot gain on different media. Plate characteristics control the size of screen dots when they are output on the platesetter.
